The Contrast Ritual
Heat and cold, one after the other. Here's how the NORDHAVEN Heat Pod and Cold Tub fit into a routine at home.
Pick a ritual.
A personal cold plunge, at home
A cold plunge is simply time in cold water. The NORDHAVEN Cold Tub is a personal-size round tub, 35.4 in (90 cm) wide and 31.5 in (80 cm) tall, designed to sit in your home, garden or patio.
Simple by design
Fill the tub, take your plunge, then cover it with the buckled lid. Water-in and water-out fittings with a valve make filling and draining straightforward. How cold and how long is your call: start gently and listen to your body.
Where it fits
The Cold Tub is a freestanding tub with no permanent construction, so you can place it where you have the space. Verified capacity and weight details will be added once they are confirmed.
Cold, on your schedule
Before work, after training, on a weekend morning. Because it lives at home, the ritual is easy to come back to.
Start smart
Cold exposure isn't right for everyone. Talk with a healthcare professional before you start, especially if you have a medical condition or are pregnant. Don't plunge alone if you feel unwell, and get out if you feel unusual discomfort.
A personal dry-heat sauna
The NORDHAVEN Heat Pod is a one-person sauna powered by a 1500W hot-air heater. It uses directed dry heat, not steam.
Set it, then settle in
Choose a temperature from 86°F to 185°F and set the timer for up to 60 minutes. In supplier testing the enclosure reached approximately 185°F after around 20 minutes; actual heat-up time and temperature vary with ambient conditions and use.
Built to hold the heat
A quilted outer fabric and insulated inner structure are designed to help contain heat. The freestanding circular frame and folding chair mean no permanent sauna-room construction. Verified dimensions will be added once they are confirmed.
Heat, on your schedule
Before work, after training, at the end of a long day. The Heat Pod brings your sauna ritual closer to the rest of your life.
Start smart
Heat exposure isn't right for everyone. Talk with a healthcare professional before you start, especially if you have a medical condition or are pregnant. Stay hydrated, leave the enclosure if you feel dizzy or unwell, and follow the product instructions for temperature and session length.
Better together.
Contrast simply means alternating heat and cold. Some people like to start warm and finish cold; others choose just one. NORDHAVEN is designed so either, or both, fit at home.
Warm up
Begin with dry heat in the Heat Pod, at a temperature that feels right for you.
Cool down
Follow with a plunge in the Cold Tub, or the other way around if you prefer.
Make it yours
Choose the order, timing and temperatures that suit you, and rest whenever you need to.
Build yours.
